  Booked ahead for Mother's day, still had to queue at the bar and order our food even though I had booked the three course Mother's day special. Our starters arrived , some had side salad, some just had a bit of iceberg. Mains, steak was over cooked, supposed to be medium and rare, but was well done. Sweet chili Salmon was missing its sweet chilli sauce and wedge of lemon. Chips were awful. Something wrong with every course apart from sundaes, which were nice. Chef is not good enough and doubtful if we'd go back for food, prefer the pack horse up the road. No comparison at all. However the staff are pleasant and the place is clean and tidy. Nice beer decking too. Need to up their game in the kitchen and stop missing stuff from the plates.

  The food is poor compared to the Pack Horse which is just 1 mile or so down the road. I ordered a rare steak and, after waiting for about 40 minutes, a VERY well done steak was delivered. That said, the prices are reasonable.

  Great play area in and out for kids. But everything inclouding the bar is sticky.
